I first met fellow photographer, Carla Lynn (Carla Lynn Photography), at a fundraiser event that she had put together for her friend, Ashley, that is fighting cancer. Carla had rounded up a large group of Nashville photographers to spend the day doing free sessions for people, in turn all the money from print sales went directly to help with the costs of Ashley’s continued treatments. How awesome is that! I was immediately drawn to Carla because of her heart, her giving nature and her free spirit. In the midst of the craziness of that day we somehow connected and have grown closer ever since. I love this woman! Her heart is so big it can barley be contained in her little body and it reaches out to anyone who is blessed to come into contact with her. I was so honored when she asked me to do her family session! And being of mom of two boys myself it was absolutely heartwarming to see that even as teenagers they still love their momma. :)
