From our very first email I knew I would LOVE Alexa and Brian. Alexa wanted all artsy images, nothing traditional and more than anything she wanted gorgeous sunny, dreamy, flare shots. We spent the next six months emailing back and forth ideas and envisioning this gorgeous wedding filled with sunkissed romantic images. The only thing about sun kissed dreamy images is, well, there has to be sun. The entire week before their wedding the forecasts showed nothing but massive thunder storms, with the worst of it landing on their wedding day. The day before the wedding had everyone scrambling to find umbrellas for guest and to figure out a plan B. The morning of their wedding, we all woke to perfect blue skies, bright sunshine and not a hint of rain. Alexa and Brian’s wedding turned out to be perfect, dreamy and absolutely sun kissed.

I the midst of getting the property ready, decorating, entertaining guests, Alexa’s mom took the time to place heart cookies and a bridal emergency kit in the bridal room. It was such a sweet touch that I had to post a pic of it.

Alexa had told Brian that she wanted his birthstone in her engagement ring. Brian picked out the rest and it is gorgeous!!

I absolutely love this moment between Alexa’s mom and step dad right after he walked Alexa down the aisle.

Right after the ceremony we got to sneak away to do the couple pictures. It was gorgeous out! Brian could not take his eyes off of his new bride. I literally had to pry them away from her to get him to look at me in a few shots.

The guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the garden while we did the couple shoot.

Alexa and Brian has asked that each guest bring a plate, sign it and take a picture with it. Then for many years to come, whenever they ate from them they could remember their friends and family. It was such an adorable idea and the guests had a blast taking their picture with their plate.

After the cocktail hour guests followed Alexa and Brian to the reception area for an intimate dinner.

Brian and Alexa, thank you so much for including me in your day! You both are such truely good people and I am blessed to know you. I am so happy that you got the gorgeous day that you wanted and I hope you cherish these images always!

alexa - Hooray!!
You’re SO talented, Jenny!!! These were exactly what I had hoped for….thank you so much for all your work to capture the day! You did an amazing, wonderful job :)
Mom - I’m in awe. The very first photo is absolutely adorable. I found myself quickly scrolling down to get a full-length view of the handsome couple. Beautiful job, Jenny. You captured incredible shots. The one of everyone seated for dinner by the barn with the grasses in the forefront is a fav of mine.
Julie - Was this a private residence or is it available for renting? It’s absolutley beautiful and you captured it perfectly.
jenny lindsey - Thankyou everyone!! Julie, thank you! It is a private residence but I can see if they rent it out, did you have a date in mind?
Samantha Reedy - These make me so happy!!! You are very talented and we loved working with you! Way to capture the spirit of the day in the exact style Alexa was hoping for. :)
